Editors’ Rating: excellent
Canon’s Color imageClass MF746Cdw ($1,595) is a medium- to high-volume color laser all-in-one (AIO) printer designed primarily for enterprise-level or multi-machine fleet deployment. The MF746Cdw, a step up from the MF741Cdw and other MF700 series models, is a competitor to the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-C5790 Color MFP Supertank Printer (2019), an inkjet-based laser alternative reviewed here recently. Aside from its steep list price, a prominent distinction between the MF746Cdw and several other color AIO competitors is that the former comes with and/or supports several enterprise and fleet software applications and security features. As for the MSRP, as I wrote this, I found it everywhere on the web for less than half of Canon’s suggested price, making it—apart from its somewhat high running costs—a capable and attractive corporate-level color laser AIO.
