- PROS
Good print quality. Relatively fast. Low running costs for entry-level laser printer.
- CONS
ADF is manual-duplexing. No automatic two-sided printing. Lacks Wi-Fi Direct.
- BOTTOM LINE
The Xerox B205 is a fast monochrome laser AIO that produces quality output, but it sacrifices important productivity features for a low price.

Editors’ Rating: GOOD
Sitting smack in the middle of a recent three-machine debut, the Xerox B205 ($199.99) is an entry-level to midrange monochrome all-in-one laser printer aimed at small or micro offices or work groups. It’s similar in many ways (such as volume ratings and paper capacity) to the Editors’ Choice Canon imageClass MF269, but it lacks some of that slightly more expensive model’s key convenience features, including an auto-duplexing automatic document feeder and a peer-to-peer connectivity option. Even so, its excellent output and reasonable running costs render it a sensible alternative if your office is willing to sacrifice some features to save cash.
