Editors’ Rating: excellent

The flagship model in a recent three-machine debut, the Xerox B215 ($249.99) is an entry-level to midrange monochrome laser all-in-one (AIO) printer designed for small or micro offices or workgroups. It prints excellent-looking text at reasonably fast speeds, and offers low running costs compared with its competition. But while it costs slightly less than the Editors’ Choice Canon imageClass MF269dw, it lacks that model’s time-saving auto-duplexing automatic document feeder. It’s still an excellent option, though, for environments that don’t require two-sided scanning and copying.
