Small footprint. Good output quality. Relatively fast.

  • CONS

High running costs. Supports only manual duplexing. Lacks Ethernet support.

The Canon imageClass LBP113w is a solid, bare-bones monochrome laser printer, but less-expensive competitors offer more bang for your buck.

Editors’ Rating: GOOD

The Canon imageClass LBP113w ($159) is an entry-level single-function monochrome laser printer that’s designed for light-duty output in a small office or front counter setting, or as a personal laser printer. As do most other print-only monochrome machines we’ve reviewed recently, this one prints well, especially text documents. It’s also relatively fast, and it takes up very little desk space. That said, it’s overshadowed by the Editors’ Choice Brother HL-L2370DW, which offers a slew of additional features and costs $30 less.
