I have been writing about computer technology for about 30 years. I have authored or coauthored 20 books—including titles in the popular “Bible,” “Secrets,” and “For Dummies” series—on digital design (or desktop publishing) software applications, such as Acrobat, Photoshop, and QuarkXPress.
I’ve written hundreds of articles for online magazines (and hard copy publications prior to the emergence of the Internet). In addition to the publications listed above, over the years I’ve also written for several other computer and business publications, including PC World, Compute!, MacUser, Home Office Computing, Entrepreneur, theWirecutter.com, and (the once quite popular) Windows Magazine, and I served as the Printers and Scanners Expert at About.com (now LifeWire.com).
My popular online courses, currently offered at more than 2,500 colleges and universities, as well as via other online outlets, cover Microsoft Excel, HTML5, CSS3, and mobile Web design.
