William Harrel – Writer, Journalist

I have been writing about computer technology for about 30 years. I have authored or coauthored 20 books—including titles in the popular “Bible,” “Secrets,” and “For Dummies” series—on digital design (or desktop publishing) software applications, such as Acrobat, Photoshop, and QuarkXPress.

I was also a Contributing Editor at PCMag.com’s sister site, Computer Shopper, until it was absorbed by PCMag.
